A plastic stick with lots of yellow
feathers on the end!
|
This is a toy that requires a human to play with me for it to
very fun. But when they do, I find the dangling feathers quite irresistible,
and "have to" chase them for a while. But it does not
keep my attention forever, and also my humans get tired of it rather
quickly. It is a great "ice breaker" though, nothing like
a good game of "chase the featherduster" to get to know
a new person! And when I am feeling a little lazy it is great to
just have one of my humans just play slowly with it, so I can just
stretch out my paw and pund it a little.
The price of the toy was reasonable, and its feathers seem to be
very well attached to the stick. It hasn't lost a single feather
in the 3 weeks I have had it. It probably also helps that my people
put it on a shelf when we are not playing with it, so I have not
had a chance to chew on it on my own...
Note from Linda: This toy is also great for getting kittens out
of small places they might hide in! When Juuso moved in he did hide
a couple of times, being unsure about the place. But with the featherduster
he came out to play almost as soon as he saw it! So it is also very
practical to use to get kittens out from places they should not
be!
